One of the standout moments of 2025 was witnessing the late Chadwick Boseman finally receive his well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On November 20, 2025, Boseman was posthumously honored with the 2,828th star in the Motion Pictures category — a fitting tribute not only to his extraordinary achievements on screen, but also to his lasting contributions to arts, culture, and humanitarian efforts.
The ceremony took place on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, where family, friends, and collaborators gathered to celebrate his legacy. In attendance were his wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman; his brothers, Derrick and Kevin Boseman; and longtime friends and colleagues including Viola Davis, Michael B. Jordan, Letitia Wright, and director Ryan Coogler.
Speakers at the event recalled Boseman’s remarkable talent, his humility, and the profound impact he had on those around him. Coogler described Boseman as a leader of unparalleled generosity and spirit, someone who gave fully to his craft even when facing immense personal challenges.
